This project originated with an RFQ submission which led to a design competition involving six (6) finalist design teams.  BAR teamed with STV Architects to prepare the solution presented here.

The design is for a 95,700 sq. ft. Learning Resource Center for the Brentwood Campus of Suffolk  County Community College.  The proposal contains library space, stufy rooms, media spaces, a café, center for acedemic excellance, offices and a lecture hall. The facility was designed with LEED Certification requirements.  The project was awarded to another finalist and is currently in the construction phase.
