BAR – Architects,  P.C. was retained by NYIT to evaluate and prepare drawings for the restoration of the de Seversky Conference Center.

The de Seversky Mansion is one of the few remaining Gold Coast Mansions on Long Island, designed by architect Thomas Hastings and was completed in 1918.  As is the case with many of these structures, time has taken its toll on many components of the building.  BAR completed a detailed facility evaluation and assessment and then prepared drawings for the restoration of the stone entablatures, pediments, balustrades, and decorative features as well as brick restoration and repointing.
