Joint Venture with Burt, Hill

This project originated with an RFQ submission which led to a design competition involving six (6) finalist design teams.  BAR teamed with Burt-Hill Architects to prepare the solution presented here.

The design is for a 70,000 sq. ft. natural sciences facility for the Ammerman Campus of Suffolk  County Community College.  The proposal contains Labs, Classrooms, Lecture Halls, Faculty Offices and Student Lounge Areas housed in a building that was designed with LEED Certification requirements.  The project was awarded to another finalist and is currently under construction
